This clip is really bad. Absolutely hollow. But important to remember also that as this tech becomes "better" and more advanced, simply it being "bad" isn't going to cut it as a rhetorical argument. Slop like this must be opposed because it's fundamentally anti-human, regardless of "quality"

Really good issue! The series is almost definitely at its best when it focuses on the soap opera drama, the supervillains often feel like padding that goes against what makes the book what it is.

Not usually a fan of picture covers, instead of art. But you know, this one feels like they got creative with it, creative with the lighting at least. Even if they botched the costuming.

It's interesting that while the Brood pose the primary existential threat, secondary to that is the idea that Wolverine will have lost hope enough that he just mercy kills them. Which is playing into his ongoing narrative of the X-Men, primarily Nightcrawler, chipping away as his cynical nature.

I meant to talk about the Brood's living starships before, it's an incredible and horrifying concept. Slavery and exploitation is so deeply embodied in their culture that even their transportation isn't spared.

I didn't love DC bringing back their bullet logo, despite it being my favorite. As a whole, I think DC leans way too much on chasing past highs rather than innovating forward.
But if Marvel brought this baby back? I'd buy every book on the stand.
