I used to paint pictures, as I got more exposure they became more accurate, my assumption would be similar actions in the past.

It’s hard to have a conversation, let alone an argument, when you are being drowned out by bigoted, exclusionary, and false views.
It seems the more the view is false the more they will scream, presenting evidence is nigh on impossible to them.
This is not the marketplace of ideas in that case

We need more citizen/community-sourced journalism.
Local councils should support (groups can apply for grants, try to get at least 3 groups of at least 5 in each area, it could be school centered) local in independant news groups, then syndicate out from there.
