📈 STAMPEDE update – Metformin results are out @thelancetoncol.bsky.social

The trial tested if adding metformin to standard treatment could slow cancer progression & improve survival in metastatic #ProstateCancer. While no clear survival benefit was found, there were encouraging findings.
