Ya know it’s like they say measure once query plan twice.
Dumb shit I learned the hard way - most editors will display log files with specific syntax highlighting, so using a .log file extension actually helps. What else helps when pulling a log off that pile?
New predator in the garden yesterday. I’m hoping they stay a while and knock back some of the caterpillars that have been munching on the chill resilient eggplant leaves.
I have to admit I’d probably give it a solid 30min of the ol’ 1 leg out before giving a heavy sigh and unplugging the bed.
Quick snaps from the backyard - they’re emptying the feeder quickly in the cooler temperatures.
Scheduled the annual immune system updates (flu+covid) for next weekend - made sure to give it a few weeks before our trip so they have time to land in all regions.
Squee - found a hummingbird feather in the garden. So tiny, with a hint of green iridescence.
Whhaaaatttt is wrong with my Office app icons?
Is this what I get for mocking the PowerFx logo as "sexy excel" a year ago?

I swear I didn’t name it 🏳️‍⚧️
Productive chaos - early fall arugula sprouting. I had dried seed pods in the garage (yes, I keep dead plants in the garage) that I could quickly crush to disperse before raking it in (bare hands to quickly move the soil, wipe on dirty hoodie, and say “there, done”).
In my defense, when I designed my home network I didn't know wifi-enabled bird feeders were a thing.
.... sorry really late seeing this. Which SqlPackage install is it removing? (msi, zip, or dotnet tool?)
you can build it once for each platform instead of using the deploy-time property (if you want) by passing the SQL platform to MSBuild (learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/...). msbuildArguments is where you would pass "/p:DSP=Sql150DatabaseSchemaProvider" to build for SQL 2019, for example
MSBuild@1 - MSBuild v1 task
Build with MSBuild.
learn.microsoft.com
For the SQL server, a script/run block can call sqlpackage directly. The azuredacpac deploy task requires the azure subscription and I believe won’t even deploy to a sql server vm in azure (on the list of things to fix asap)
This weeding style is by far the most satisfying for me due to the spear-stabbing, stepping, and pulling.

Dictators disappear people – that’s what they do.

The Supreme Court ordered Trump to work to bring Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia home to his family + three kids in a 9-0 unanimous decision.

Trump’s defying that order and refusing to take responsibility for his mistake. That’s complete lawlessness.
😂 that statement is also true
The name doesn't do me any favors, but a bacpac is not a backup. Whenever I hear that a bacpac described as a backup I know nobody is in for a good time.
Some of the new plants went in before FabCon and the mini-dwarf apple tree is already sprouting new leaves. 🍎 It’s in the berry patch between the bluebs, blackberries, and some half-dead raspberries.
