HMS Matabele torpedoed by U-Boat U454 while carrying out escort duties for Arctic Convoy PQ8 just off the Kola inlet January 1942. There were 2 survivors from a ships company of 238. The ship sank in 2 minutes with her depth charges detonating as she went down

Something interesting that I came across on my travels the other day. They have just been got ready for a Christmas parade

I had never seen one before, but they used to carry out an important function back in the day. Anyone any ideas what they were used for ? 🙂

Good News, our 41 year old Bedford sailed through her HGV MoT today. She was the same age as the MOT tester 🙂🙂
