Had a pretty solid weekend for gaming. Got a new PB in ToeJam & Earl Fixed World by 1 second, got the 1cc in Einhander, as pictured here with fist pump, and probably most important, defeated Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: 2nd Edition on PS1, with chat's help! Thanks for hanging out!

Fridays will be a new thing. Time is unknown (could be day or night) and looking to do some one-offs, maybe a weekly RPG, speedrun stuff, guests streaming, sneaking in requests, could be anything! Basically whatever strikes my fancy at the time!

Sundays move up 2 hours to 1 PM with the idea that I'll be able to have a break after the main game and participate in DWR weekly races that should be resuming soon.

Here's the NFC standings. If the game could do 3 wildcards like current NFL rules, Minnesota would've had the final spot for sure. The South was a garbage division with TB clinching in week 12!

Here's the AFC standings. If the game could do 3 wildcards like current NFL rules, I'm not sure Miami or Pittsburgh would've got the 7th spot in the AFC. KC started 8-0, but somehow lost the division with Denver flying out of nowhere! There was a 3-way tie in the North going into the final week!

Your 2025-2026 champions, the Detroit Lions! Buffalo had an unfortunate injury to Josh Allen in the first half. They hung in there with a lot of back and forth, but the Lions get the win! Also worth noting Jalen Hurts and Devonta Smith got injured in their opening game and did not play vs the Lions.

Week 1 of the NFL approaches, that means it's time for my annual "Week 1 Challenge" speedrun in Tecmo Super Bowl on NES! I'll probably get rolling around 4-4:30 PM EDT today (aka after some fantasy football drafts wrap up). Look for the simulation of the season with a romhack this week, as well!

I got through the normal mode without much issue (technically a 1cc), then hit an absolute wall on stage 3 in Masters' Play. I'm not sure I have the skills in me anymore to try to conquer that path :D

Either way, I still love doing a casual play of this game. Still one of my favorites!

Playing one of my favorite games tonight starting at 7:00, Gitaroo Man! I've never been able to defeat Master difficulty and will see how it goes after doing one regular playthrough.
