I'm happy for folks to follow me if I look interesting enough, but
1) I don't make any promise to follow back.
2) I m not here to gratuitously argue
3) if I don't know you IRL & your profile says nothing about who you are (e.g why I might want to follow you), that's an instant Block.
Savvy?
#GoodMorning all, for morning it is, with the potential for good to be received & enacted. I could do without the threat of a good soaking, but never mind. Prayers have been prayed, #coffee consumed (though a fresh one awaits on-site), and the day lies open before us. Onwards!

Afternoon all! So much gloomy stuff in the world! Instead, I'll just say how much I'm enjoying sounds (music, drama, stage combat) from Acting students here. All much-maligned Arts, so disrespected by our political lords & masters. From such comes life, joy, inspiration, hope. Antidote & resistance!

#GoodAfternoon I have, somewhat unusually, a day without the company of my GoodLadyWife. Strangely, this is not alloyed joy. I'm used to time together, not apart. I've been out for breakfast, but now need to find something rewarding & meaningful, lest the day feel wasted. A statement, not a request.

#GoodAfternoon So far: a good cup of #coffee, some interesting news (home and colleagues), & the Sun is shining. I suspect this has far greater significance in some ways, a visible mood-lifter. Looking forward to meeting CU folks soon for their prayer meeting... and whatever the afternoon may hold.
January 14, 2026 at 12:26 PM
#GoodMorning all! There's been Morning Prayer, and #Coffee, and somewhere out there, something approximating daylight. Time to leave The Lair and head out to that there university... Have a good one!

#GoodAfternoon! Safely returned from conference, bailing out a bit early. I felt, really, really weird: no convenient frame of reference to describe it. Spaced, detached, wide-eyed, but not physically exhausted. I'd forgotten to take vitamin D tablets with me, could that had something to do with it?

#GoodMorning! #TravelBuddy #Squidge is abroad, with new friend #CorporalCarrot! This can mean only one thing, that a journey is afoot. To the CHELG conference no less... but not until #coffee & Morning Prayer have been engaged in.
January 7, 2026 at 9:10 AM
#GoodMorning on this rather icy morn. Schools are back, usual vehicular & foot traffic returns, to give extra human interest to window view. I have second #coffee, & agreeable news: I will be off Chaplaincy Conference tomorrow (Mad wife gadding off doing her own stuff). All go, chez Moose. Carry On!

#GoodMorning!
Shark-like, fin rises
Cutting as through snowy sea.
Car roof aerial, red.

Bit chilly, innit? Time for more #coffee!
January 5, 2026 at 8:20 AM
#GoodMorning! Time to rise with light (after #coffee) and see what effect Christmas and New Year have had on weight! Mrs Moose slumbers, fighting something fluey. Day 2 of trying to avoid Facebook... Carry On.
January 3, 2026 at 8:16 AM
Day's done. Spawn (& love) returned to uni via Mrs Moose's siblings (& lunch). Many miles by light both bright & dying. Facebook (experimentally) disabled on this phone, & night well-established. Wine consumed, & sleep calling. Much life, faith implicit, #RPGs background only. It'll do. #GoodNight!
January 2, 2026 at 10:22 PM
#GoodMorning! This post is brought to you by a slow start accompanied by good will, gratitude for the good gone, hopes for blessings ahead, wishes for fortitude against the travails to come ... and the inability to move courtesy of a sleeping wife! (Not even to get #coffee...) Happy New Year all!
January 1, 2026 at 10:07 AM
#GoodMorning! (Technically). Happy Christmas now we've returned from Midnight. No spiritous liquor in the house, so no #ClergyMaltClub post!
December 25, 2025 at 1:22 AM
It is the hardest part of Advent, at least if we follow our Western cultural tradition that day begins with sunrise, not previous sunset. It is the pause, delay, before the oft wrongly-named Midnight service. Not leading tonight, but being, accompanying, driving. Soon, time for another #coffee!
December 24, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Here, at least, tomorrow is still a few seconds shorter.. <Sergeant-Major Voice> Wait for it!</Sergeant-Major Voice>. You might be able tell I've been looking at old html files today...
December 20, 2025 at 10:37 PM
#GoodMorning! I don't often post on Saturdays, but neither do I often get a long lie in & slow start, such as today. Which is good. (As was #coffee!) Carry on!
December 20, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Unexpected Kickstarter in the delivery area! A nice present to myself pre-Christmas. #RPG #TTRPG #13thAge Shiny!
December 18, 2025 at 6:36 PM
#GoodMorning folks, though skies be dim & drear, rain-threatening clouded. (Not unexpected for a small moist group of islands in our geographical location). Today sees Dr Moose MC the uni's Festive Concert. Meanwhile, I have words to write, & even better, #coffee to reverently consume. Carry On!
December 18, 2025 at 11:01 AM
Gosh! Is that the time? Better wish you all a #GoodAfternoon! Keep Calm. Drink #Coffee. Carry On...

A minor miracle and/or demonstration of efficacy of keeping paper records ends day's work on a positive note. Employment contract with Diocesan Board of Finance, from 2012) recovered. Hurrah!
December 15, 2025 at 5:02 PM
May I wish you all a speedy #GoodMorning before I must zoom onwards? Dr Moose: like you, but powered by #coffee, silly beard, and maybe just a dash of the Holy Spirit!

Well we have corollary:

#GoodEvening! Poor light levels & low mood do not a happy Moose make. However, let the record show that three-quarters of an hour's walk at dusk, last day's light & chill breeze are restorative to mind & mood! (Never fear, no #coffee was absent in the course of the day).

#GoodAfternoon. There's been cooked breakfast, proper #coffee, & good Pop-Up Coffee Stop at the Dev Hub. All's good. I'm well, in body, mind, & spirit so far as I can tell, which doesn't explain why I'm drinking (& enjoying) tea! Could it be the first of the year? So rare it's possible!
