At the time of our salvation, God begins His work in us. We're made alive in Christ, regenerated and made new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Through an ongoing, lifelong process called sanctification, God finishes, perfects, and completes His work in us ❤️. #sanctification

In Psalm 141:3-4, King David was going through an intense trial. He asked for divine help to control his speech, recognizing the tongue had the power of life & death. The primary areas of spiritual vulnerability is the mouth & the heart. Even people of faith need self-control 🙏. #self-control

Ecclesiastes 10:5-7, describes a profound societal evil or disorder where incompetent people (fools) are promoted to high positions & deemed qualified, while worthy people are demoted. We live in a flawed, broken, & unstable world where injustice is prevalent. Integrity matters. #GodlyIntegrity

One of Satan’s best tricks is getting Christians to fight with human weapons. God has provided His full armor. We're in a spiritual battle where vigilance, preparedness, courage, and usage of the right weaponry is needed. Having knowledge & application of God's Word prepares us. #ArmorofGod

Living for God and His glory is the goal of life. Those who don't seek this goal will be judged. Even our good deeds that have gone unnoticed are seen by God will be rewarded. Having the knowledge, wisdom, and love for God gives us a desire to love others to make a difference. #ReverenceforGod

Our times are in God's hands. All of life's seasons -- birth, death, success, & suffering, are under God's divine control. God is the creator of heaven & earth. Nothing happens outside of His purview. Trust & rely on God's sovereignty. He's got the whole world in His hands. #God

None of us are immune from the difficulties of life. Amid life's hardships & storms take your requests to God in prayer, as you close your day. He promises to transform your anxiety to quiet & peaceful assurance. Prayer is your most powerful resource in times of distress 🙏. #God

As believers, we're not to let fear, anxiety, or distress overcome us during tumultuous times. When we place our trust and faith in God, He offers us peace, purpose, and orders our steps. We can rely on His promises, even when circumstances appear uncertain or frightening 🙏❤️. #TrustInGod

The Bible reiterates much about gratitude, as well as, the lack of it. God knows how we're made. He designed us to thrive when we're humble, moral, and thankful. When we're arrogant, immoral, and ungrateful, we exhibit ingratitude. We're not promised tomorrow. Thank God today! #Gratitude

One of Satan’s biggest tools is to constantly remind us of our past transgressions. He's the accuser, that tries to use past sins to prove that God couldn’t possibly forgive or restore us. Let us receive grace when we sin by repenting and confessing our sin to God through Christ. #Sinning

Jesus is the Door through which all must enter eternal life. There's no other way because He alone is "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). The way to eternal life is restricted to just one route, Christ. There's no alternate routes to God, for it leads to destruction.

Many people have a tendency to blame God for their "poor" choices. Instead of initially seeking God's guidance, they act impulsively and then turn to God only to complain of the consequences of their choices. Go to God in prayer, seek repentance, and wisdom 🙏 ❤️. #God

If we truly say that we're of Christ and say that we have reverence and awe for Him, why do we engage in evil, exhibit arrogance, and exhibit perverse speech? These things are what we should loathe. Self-righteousness, sinful conceit and healthy pride doesn’t align with Christ. #Godliness

God is the ultimate source of all comfort, the "Father of compassion," who comforts believers in their troubles, so they can offer that same comfort and strengthening aid (paraclesis) to others in need turning personal suffering into a ministry of encouragement. Comfort others. #Comfort

Dross is the waste, scum, or impurities separated from precious metal during heating. The same can be said pertaining to our spiritual purification. God refines believers by removing sin and moral impurities (the dross), so they can become pure and useful for His purposes 🙏❤️. #Refining

Living for God & His glory is the goal of life. Those not seeking this goal will be judged. "God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil." There may be nothing new under the sun, but Jesus promises someday to make all things new. #God

In 2 Timothy 3, the Apostle Paul warns Timothy that the "last days" will be marked by moral decay. Characteristics of people in these times include being lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. What are we seeing today? #LastDays

Christians face hardships just like everyone else. We can become discouraged & wounded when we experience difficulties. As believers, the salvation of our souls & the hope of eternal life with God allows us to press on & not lose heart. God is greater than any difficulties! #God

God sees everything, including hidden thoughts, motives, & actions, & will hold everyone accountable. Life's true value is found in connecting with the Creator & living in alignment with His will. The ultimate meaning isn't found in worldly pleasures, but reverent obedience. #God

God takes gratefulness & ungratefulness seriously. As long as a person or a culture remains thankful to God, they retain a sensitivity to His presence. When we remind ourselves often that all we are and have is a gift from God, we guard ourselves against idolatry & pride 🙏. #Gratefulness

Life is like a vapor that appears for a short time and then vanishes. Each day is precious and unrepeatable. We shouldn’t squander our time on worldly things, but prepare for eternity by living to serve God. Our choices should have an eternal impact, not a temporary satisfaction. #Salvation

Food is vital for sustaining life. Without proper nourishment, the human body becomes weak & can't function properly. The same principle can be said about one's spiritual life. A proper diet of spiritual food is required for Christians not to become weak & weary. We need God!

To redeem something means to buy it back, to regain possession of it. Time is a gift from God, and none of us know how much of it we're allotted. Only God knows how much time we have. We can learn to redeem the time by becoming conscious of the fact that our salvation matters. #Salvation

Trials can be seen as opportunities to develop patience, endurance, and dependence on God, by producing character and hope. With God, we're never alone. He uses challenges to refine our faith, reveal weak spots, and prepare us for greater things, putting His power on display🙏❤️. #Trials

Acquiring knowledge about God by studying the Bible, but lacking a personal relationship with Him, is not a path to knowing Jesus who offers eternal life. The Bible's goal isn't just information, but transformation through Christ 🙏❤️. #Christ
