OK NYT, skepticism is not accurate here. Try lie or falsehood or deception or fantasy. The story tries to be balanced, but what is balanced about babies and adults dying of preventable disease?

It’s infuriating watching public health crumble the way it is. Propaganda on the CDC webpages. telling us that vaccines cause autism while at the same time being unable to remove the statement “vaccines don’t cause autism” because of a deal made with Sen Collins.
Please make this stop!!

This is not the first attack by HHS against public health and science but is the clearest signal yet of the intention to destroy childhood vaccination.
We have a deep obligation to protect the citizens of this country from wanton deadly ideological policy.

A healthy competent FDA is in all of our interests, and is our primary goal because it serves our patients. When a patient asks “will that drug work and will it be safe for me?” we need to be able to give an answer based on robust evidence.
This is not partisanship, it is constancy of purpose .
