Unfortunately chaos is inherently chaotic, that is to say there will be a lot of friendly fire if this tinderbox is lit. Hopefully most of the burning lands on those who deserve it, but it will be accompanied by chaos either way.

Huge. It's also Xi's personal dream to take Taiwan to cement his legacy. I've heard the party elders were not as keen on the idea(by the same analysts who have been predicting these moves the past two years). Hopefully they really aren't sold on the war with Taiwan.

I can't imagine if there was actually 1/10th of the corruption with Hunter as there is with Trump's children. MAGA and its media monster would have been screaming 24/7 and kept it up to this day. Although I guess they still bring up the laptop lol Fucking hypocritical psychos...

We have some air bases close enough and already have 10 F-35s there. An aircraft carrier means the bombing campaign being planned would be rather large though.
