I originally drew this in reaction to the passing of Carrie Fisher and in homage of the time she liked one of my tweets calling her a firecracker. While it's captioned 'Hope.', the actual name of the piece is 'Leia'. But Hope's important now more than ever...

In the lake, a female arm clad in a white sleeve sticks up out of the water, holding aloft Anakin Skywalker's original blue-bladed lightsaber. In the sky, a large moon shaped like the original Rebel phoenix with maria and craters provides reflected light on the scene. The word 'Hope.' is printed on the opposite side of the blade in mid-air. The name of the piece is 'Leia'.

My rule of thumb is, if I log in, and my CD is up, if folks are already there, I wait to see if anyone's looting. If yes, I wait patiently & take my turn. If folks are just standing around, I loot and move on. Don't have time to wait longer. No reason for anyone to be rude about it w/ emotes, etc.

I remember one year, a specific kinship would roll in with several six-person fellowships and blocked others by covering the chest with their chars. It became a bit of a game as I filtered in my various alts one by one and beat them to the punch every so often. They were *SALTY*. :D

People do get precious about that chest if they run in and someone's already waiting and that other person loots first. Using rude emotes like the finger across the throat one, or trying to use consumables to interrupt other people looting. It's so foolish.

People don't really need to queue for that chest, tbh, because of its short respawn time. It used to be people could grief by looting but never closing the dialogue window to let it despawn. So Turbine/SSG changed it so that the chest auto-despawned regardless. Good change.

I never ceases to amaze me as I'm farming the Aged Deed in the 24-hour timer chest in the basement of the Haunted Burrow in @officiallotro.bsky.social how many people run into the basement, see the chest is despawned, and run back out without waiting. It has a 10-second respawn timer.

Was originally going to run prot pally as main, rerolled the char holding the name Protection, but then... just kinda wanted to get back on my ret BS. Would be weird to be ret with that name, so I rolled up a new pally entirely this afternoon and got her to 20. More tomorrow!

And I did roll a new ret for Remix. Didn't want to troll with a ret pally named Protection, so Lightsworn the belf pally will take down the demons! :D Keeping the other for the name and will prolly level later.

Had a heckin' good time with friends and acquaintances and random strangers in @officiallotro.bsky.social, testing lag and stuff by running the latest raid on the Bullroarer server, and then I picked up a nice new account-wide title. It'll be available in the future as well. Thanks, Cord!

I'm drowning in games to play with limited-time events. LotRO's new Bullroarer special focus test (with Harvestmath starting tomorrow!), WoW's Lemix, DDO's Night Revels. Then there's other stuff I want to do, such as play on the Dune RP server, get my last couple of LotRO alts to level cap, etc.

Super tired from a long day, so all I did in Legion Remix was prep my timerunners and start the journey on the prot pally. Some of 'em were MoP Remix leftovers with cool names. A couple were new. Only one of them is definitely not going to stick around afterwards.
