In all seriousness, tariffs are paid by US importers. A 200% tariff would obliterate US wine importers; even a 25% rate will be very hard for many to survive. For a $10 imported wine, about $6 go to US businesses.

I’m seeing more new rosés in the market than usual for this time of year.
Wine importers and European producers are rushing the wines to US warehouses to get ahead of possible tariffs.
