#landline Woot! Spouse finally agreed to killing our landline. I think what tipped her over the edge was when I found out it could only receive calls and not make calls (Verizon messed something up) AND we have no idea how long that has been going on (I suspect over a year).

Tech companies used to be view as forces for societal good. Now they are simply self-absorbed wrecking machines. OpenAI's Sora2 debacle was easily foreseen. Sam Altman simply made the decision that the blowback was worth the risk, and found he was wrong, and backtracked. #openAI #techbros

What I love about the American healthcare system? The fact that my doctor retired, and so I'm seeing his replacement, and I'm getting charged for the privilege. Maybe if you're changing doctors because your old one retired, it shouldn't be a charge. #healthcare

I thought CAPTCHAs and 'Pick images of cars' were annoying, but #GitHub is the worst I've ever seen - it's 'move the person to the seat (3x4 grid) whose row number header and column image header match the number and icon displayed in a separate box.' Talk about user unfriendly.
