In the continued attack on the working class and poor of this country, over 40 million people lost SNAP benefits while the Democrats and Republicans shut down the government to fight over further cuts to Medicaid and healthcare benefits.

This past Saturday, 20+ DSA members volunteered and learned at Alemany Farm! We cleared weeds from a plum orchard and hauled brush for compost, contributing our labor to a local producer of free, fresh fruits and vegetables.
