I think a lot of people misread Stephen Miller's tweet. I don't think he was *praising* Martin and Sinatra as exemplary Americans. Instead, I'm pretty sure he sees them as examples of the kind of Italians, Irish, or Slavs, etc., the US should never have allowed into the country in the first place.

It seemed odd that they used a Japanese artist's image for their original tweet so I fixed it for them.

The issue isn't bigotry, it's totalitarianism. You'll find racists, misognyists, and all-round a**holes everywhere. That's bad but this exchange by J.D. Vance's 30-something "kids" where they talk about EXTERMINATING THEIR OWN PARTY MEMBERS for insufficient party purity is core totalitarianism.
