The hostage release is a reminder of how bad the Dems are at politics. Not only did Biden refuse to force this deal on Netanyahu & thereby help Harris win, but most people aren’t even aware that Biden got way more Israeli hostages (over 100) released with his 2023 ceasefire than Trump did with his.

The release of hostages as part of the Gaza peace deal will serve as a massive relief for the hostages and their families who have known no peace while their captivity continued.

Further steps are needed: release all hostages, allow unfettered aid into Gaza, end the occupation.

There is an argument for restraint in exercising legal rights to free expression. (Eg, it is lawful to march on any day, but some people ask people not to do so the day after a terrorist attack or on an anniversary). Those who seek restraint in one context seem to celebrate its absence in another

I assume Jenrick will be asked to confirm if he has a similar position on burning Bibles in public - it may be offensive but it should not be illegal.

But would he really pretend he would attend the court case to show solidarity & support to a Bible burner too? He surely would not.
