The Blue Devils entered their New Year's Eve matchup with Georgia Tech with a lot of question marks. Duke hadn't; t looked great since an early December matchup with Michigan State. Duke seemed to be regressing, and it's difficult to tell off that regression is a time of year thing or an indication of a more serious issue. Both Defensively and offensively, the Blue Devils have had a myriad of issues.

Duke goes into the half down 4 43-39. Duke full of issues in that first half. Allows GT to shoot 67.9% and 55.6% from 3. Duke shoots under 40% AND 30% from 3. Under 70% from the free throw line. Duke also out-rebounded 16-14.

I said in my preview that Lipscomb wants to shoot a lot of 3's but because of Duke's perimeter pressure they'll utilize a lot of back cuts. If I knew it then I know Duke knew it, there's no excuse for that half of basketball.
