You can get em free if you have the "windows backup" cloud sync feature on! You can also spend 1,000 Microsoft rewards points.

I did the first one and got another year of Win 10. After that I'll be permanently on Arch Linux, unless Windows 12 is better. (Which I doubt)

- Upgrade to Win11, with a chance that functionality will become worse
- Buy a whole new system with Win11 preinstalled to have less chances of a fuckup
- Pay an increasing monthly subscription for extended Win10 support
- Get a new OS
