I wrote to Erica Stanford about the funding cuts that Hagley College are facing. The school is set to lose the funding for the part-time study grant - which is 10% of the school's entire operational budget.

Doctors and parents should make decisions about what is best for their kids health - not politicians. The Government has said doctors cannot give new prescriptions of puberty blockers to children who are suffering from gender dysphoria. That is putting kids at risk.

OMG the National Party totally screwed up the vote on the Broadcasting Bill. First they didn’t have signed proxies for the conscience vote. Then they didn’t have the 20 members in the house required for a conscience vote - so the vote is a nullity. Politics 101 learn to count !!!

It's World Rivers day this Sunday, a great reason to get out and enjoy some sunshine. It's free entry, live music (The Eastern) Kai by Ōtākaro Orchard, interactive workshops, kids’ activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn about river care, biodiversity, and community projects
