Every Christmas Eve, the Icelandic people practice something called 'jolabokaflod,' which translates to Christmas book flood.

Jolabokaflod involves giving books as presents on Christmas Eve, so that friends and family can spend the cozy night in curled up with a good story.

Poetry captures the nuances of life, from the mundane to the extraordinary, in a way that is both profound and beautiful.

It teaches us the importance of economy of words, conveying complex ideas and emotions with simplicity and grace.

Book marketing and social media posting may fall by the wayside if the author doesn't allocate time for these activities.

Through the use of time boxing, an author can stay on top of marketing and/or social media.

Go all out = take action

How might this apply to your social media and book reviews?

Take action by regularly requesting a book review from your followers. Take action by sharing your excitement over a new review.

Sometimes they just need a nudge to leave their own review.
