Laila Update: Laila is holding her own. She eats well and sleeps quite a bit. She's a very solitary girl who isn't showing her terminal situation. So, we're going to love her for as long as her lifetime allows us to. I learn acceptance from her each and every day. My girl.

Amical Update: Good news. Ami, now affectionately known as "Gumbo", is doing well since he lost all of his teeth. He's eating well & is much more active than he was when he had a mouth full of rotten fangs. Here, he's annoyed that I upset his cleaning session. He's very meticulous in his hygiene.

The Senior Clowder has an update about our GoFund Me efforts to avoid eviction so far. We are about 1/4 of the way to goal, but still need to raise at least $1,100 by October 15th to avoid eviction, with the ultimate goal of raising $3,000 by November 15th.

Funny you mention that. Molly is the oldest and most active member of the Senior Clowder at 15 yrs old. She lives to be by my side and chews me out when I leave the room. Her hiding place here is the ottoman under my computer table that I "try" to use to elevate my bad knee when she'll let me.
