for all my critiques about the hades 2 ending i really don't think it was the Worst Ending of All Time, only that it is subpar and leaves much, MUCH to be desired.
currently i'm still sad about how it so i won't play again for a while but i'll get back to it...probably🤷♀️

why include all the most relevant characters of greek myth who have been fucked over by the gods and then drop like half of them and the other half just turn to worst characters....
i can't help but wonder if hades 2 was just far too big and with far too many characters for the team to handle...

Hades 2 ending the way it did leaves a sour taste. I've always gotten the impression that sgg cares not only about creating a great game but writing a well story along with it. So I can't believe they greenlit and ending that feels so out of place. Did no one in the team had second thoughts?

i think i'm not gonna touch hades 2 for a little bit while i get some irl stuff sorted out. i think replaying with a clear head and not rushing the whole way through to try and get to the ending will do me good and help me better understand why they went with that ending (no promises tho)
