The Eagles are facing a lefty punter on Thursday (NYG Jamie Gillan) so they had lefty punter Colton Spangler in today for a tryout.

They have done this in recent years so their punt returners can get reps fielding punts off a lefty’s foot. The returners say it really helps.

The Eagles’ defense played 74 snaps Sunday. They couldn’t get off the field in the 2nd half and their offense couldn’t sustain drives.

In 2024, the Eagles played 70+ defensive snaps three times. They have now played 72 and 74 snaps in back-to-back weeks vs. Bucs and Broncos.

Eagles DB Cooper DeJean was fined $11,593 for taunting after pulling off his AI step-over in the first quarter last week against the Buccaneers.

Jalyx Hunt was also fined $6,834 for a blindside block and another $6,834 for a hip-drop tackle against the Bucs.
