i guess i dont understand why institutions and businesses continue to capitulate when it’s obvious the administration has swung drastically from(on average) tolerated to deeply unpopular over one year. yeah, you could have 3 more years of bending the knee but it’s obvious cultural shift is happening
Devastated to learn that Univ of Texas at Austin is closing the American Studies dept. The years I spent there earning my PhD were formative, making me the teacher, thinker, and writer I am today. I've passed on what I learned at UT to thousands of students over the past 20 years. Just awful.

We need mass protests about ICE. They’re thugs and murders. No ICE “officer” was in danger in that video. He easily stepped out of the way of her slowly moving car, while shooting, and continued to try to shoot her more times. Nothing about that was self defense. God I feel so sick to my stomach.
