Clearly, I'm just a guy with no one to talk to about Doctor Who. No More Stolen Sisters. If a government isn't protecting the powerless from the powerful, then what's the point of a government?

Every day is “Zorp Inc given 3 trillion dollars to launch Blooper Quarks in an effort to create the first artificial intelligence in applesauce manufacturing, universal healthcare still an impossible pipe dream”
Just trying to get through the game with "the bunny," as the baby calls it. Won't listen that she's actually a spider.

But not like Spidey.

Well, half-spider/Half-worm.

Baby, it's complicated.

Woke up before my alarm, so I've been thinking about how dumb the ending of #Rogue was, and started thinking: Is Billie there just because 15 was thinking about "Rogue," which kinda sounds like "Rose"?

And we've just been obsessed because ... well ... we're #DoctorWho fans?

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.

[at my second rodeo] listen up you ignorant sack of shit
I'm choosing to look at this from the most optimistic outlook possible, because I need some positivity in my life right now.

Imagine if NPR had actually talked to safe streets advocates for this story and learned how the solutions to drivers killing people is not, in fact, victim blaming
Also, I know even the good versions of these videos are #copaganda. Still, sloppy slop is still worse slop.
Got pulled down the courtroom "analysis" rabbit hole again. I like the fantasy that judges are all perfectly reasonable.

But I'm seeing a lot of AI generated thumbnails of people that don't exist in the video. So, I'm assuming run by somebody too lazy to even screenshot the video?

Everything the right accuses the left of is one of their own tactics.

All you have to do is listen. This is the definition of staying woke.
Vance: “People on the left are much likelier to defend and celebrate political violence. This is not a both sides problem. If both sides have a problem, then one side has a much bigger and malignant problem and that is the truth.”

Was gonna post about this, but now I can't for fear of my obscure-ass account would give it away.
I can admit when I was wrong. Most of us can't tell the difference.
When I was in school, there was an understanding that you can't trust something just because you read it online. We had to cite book-based sources for papers. Wikipedia wasn't allowed as a source. I was so annoyed, because we should be able to figure out what's reliable and what's not.
How to use ChatGPT at university without cheating: ‘Now it’s more like a study partner’
The ubiquitous AI tool has a divisive effect on educators with some seeing it a boon and others a menace. So what should you know about where to draw the line between check and cheat?

In the words of Chris Rock:

"Martin Luther King was assassinated, Malcolm X was assassinated, John F. Kennedy was assassinated ... [That] nigga ... got shot! ... school will be open on [his] birthday."

Also, murder is bad, blah, it's ironic, blah, this will only make them more incensed, blah blah
I have a cop cousin who argues with me both that only a criminal would have reason to not capitulate to a cop AND that I should buy and carry a gun because "you never know." I watched a football game with him last week.

And still this is one of the most outrageous things I've ever heard.
Mike Johnson: "I cannot for the life of me understand how the Democrats think this is some kind of winning political message. Yield man! Let the troops come into your city and show how crime can be reduced."
I'm finally going back and reading the #Batman&Robin series where Bruce was dead and Dick had to takeover both the business and the family.

I skipped it the first time around since I knew it wouldn't last. But as a stepfather standing at 5'6", those "I thought you were taller" bits hit hard.
I imagine some of that was due to always having at least 3 regular companions to spread the burden out over.

It's incredibly weird that folks have convinced themselves that the Covid vaccines - which had an ~82^% take up rate - were unpopular.
Wow. New NBC poll finds 78% support vaccines, including 72% of independents and 67% of Republicans.

As I keep trying to argue, Democrats should polarize the shit out of the vaccine/public health debate. Make people take sides. It will split Republicans and MAGA.

See this:
Trump/RFK are decapitating our public health system, a pillar of American greatness. So Dem Govs should scour every corner of the law for creative new ways to defend their people from this madness.

Dems should polarize this debate to the max.

Thoughts on this here:
