One of the perks of staying in the beautiful Center Parcs at Whinfell forest is seeing these red beauties.

I had an absolutely beautiful experience on a very early morning walk yesterday. This little one sat and looked at me for a good few minutes under the cover of the trees. I felt spellbound.

A stunning walk in the Waseley Hills today. I am still working on my upcoming book and this certainly provided inspiration to fill those pages.

Any time spent in nature, is time well spent.

The hares are very active at the moment in this beautiful weather.

Yay frog spawn! Last year I only noticed we had tadpoles when they had almost morphed into frogs. I guess our wildlife pond got extremely "wildlifey" around the edges so they were well hidden in the ivy.

It will be lovely to watch the full metamorphosis this year.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday it was like walking into the pages of Wuthering Heights and today it is like this....

I absolutely love the transition between seasons even more than the season itself. The movement between Winter and Spring brings with it the arrival of the potential for new life and a flurry of bird life too!

The buzzards are enjoying the early morning sunrise as much as I am..I can't wait to see what Spring offers us this year.

My first wildlife photography session of the year went well! I wasn't expecting to see a fox. I honestly thought it was a cardboard box from distance 😂

Disclaimer, this is a local bold and brave fox, he/she is not injured. The plastic bottle litter will be retrieved on my next litter pick.
