Hospitals shouldn’t be a place where patients and healthcare workers get infected.

Preventing airborne infections requires system-level protections, not “optional” measures. Because prevention works—and clean air saves lives.

“We can’t eliminate SARS.”

We can, and we did.

“Well poor countries can’t do it.”

Poor countries eliminate bad diseases all the time, with some outside help in the past. Yeah. Even airborne ones.

The only reason we have COVID-19 circulating is because rich countries said so.

I find it hilarious when I occasionally talk about zero COVID, and the “but it’s not that harmful anymore” crowd come out.

You haven’t been chucked “by the wayside” already. Good for you.

Millions were. Every year more join them…

And then there’s long COVID.

Can we please do something about infection control of airborne disease.

Paper after paper showing covid has serious long term health impacts that compound with every infection.
Time after time N95 masks have proven to be the best defence against infection.

UK Govt is concerned about waste crime.

England's water companies are leaders, dump raw sewage in rivers, lakes & seas.

They have nearly 1,200 criminal convictions but no director is fined, prosecuted or disqualified.

Why is that so?

What do you make of the Minister's reply?

I'm at the point now where, going into year 7 of this, airborne mitigations are second nature, like brushing my teeth or wearing sunglasses. That's why it's odd when someone says these habits are pathological. Do we say that about handwashing or flossing?

Long COVID is best described as a cluster of overlapping symptoms rather than one single condition, according to a review of 64 studies from 20 countries covering 2.4 million people.

Fatigue was most common, often alongside muscle and joint pain, cognitive symptoms, or shortness of breath.

Masks always have been, and are still worth wearing.

COVID is an airborne virus. It spreads through shared air — often from people who don’t yet feel sick or never develop symptoms at all. Masking works because it filters the air we breathe, reducing how much virus we inhale and exhale.
