use the lasso tool. learn quality over quantity. learn the foundations of art not only for your benefit but so that you have the language to compliment your fellow artists beyond “looks cool.” tutorials are nice, but nothing beats drawing from life. look at people, look at things. then stylize.

saturate the hairline and jawline. play with colors in your foreground, middle, and background even in character art : for example, try a pastel color in the hair that falls behind the head or a light blue in the hollow of a cheek. if you don’t want to draw it, don’t : and if you do, get good at it.

I am still frustrated with my work space. Peripheral vision is a huge thing, too; as in, if in my peripheral, there is 'business', it's a sensory issue that overstimulates and distracts me. And with how and where my desk is situated ( no other option ), it leaves me with +
