BC's government under Eby has made a right wing government under a racist asswipe like Rustad a viable option for nearly half of BC voters. He may want to reevaluate his approach to job creation and economic growth.

Listening to the coverage on the MOU between Alberta and Canada seems more focussed on economic diversification than just the pipeline. Data centre's, nuclear energy, clean energy projects, and carbon capture all seem to be at least as big a deal and far more likely to fly.

Tje positive part of the MOU between Canada and Alberta is the opportunity to take the federal threat out of Alberta politics, forcing accountability back to its provincial government. Not sure the UCP will survive the scrutiny.

I think the anger regarding a potential oil pipeline in Northern BC, while absolutely justified, is likely unnecessary. There is a global oversupply of oil that will get worse when Russia comes back on line. There is no business case to spend $30 billion on a pipe noone wants or needs.

I am kind of chuckling at the whole US Second Amendment to protect the "free" stare. Bunch of pussy gun owners took their guns, rolled over and let a bunch of rich psychopaths and their Orange Turd of a Leader take your country away from you.

I find it interesting that the voices against the Canadian decision to consider the Grypen fighter are those with a wildly right wing, pro-US spin in all of their messaging.

Makes me want to buy the Saab jets just to prove them wrong.

It is an international problem that requires the elimination of billionaires and the resetting of the economy to support all people.
The Epstein files are about so much more than the disgusting, criminal dealings of one man.

They're about how the rich and powerful are rigging our entire system to give themselves money, cover, and influence.

Buying elections. Warping our economy. Subverting justice.

Enough.

To my Alberta friends about enabling doctors to play in public and private health care. My wife is deaf. She needed an Eyes, Ears and Throat specialist but could not get an appointment for nearly a year. They had all exited the public system to do cosmetic stuff instead of actual health care.

So there are no Canadian acts sufficiently talented or capable to provide the halftime show at the Canadian Grey Cup, featuring two Canadian football teams? Really? Many WTFs, particularly in today's climate with the US.
