I truly do find it sad and maddening that the EU’s top court wasted four years of its time having to reject this Commission official’s grubby attempt to claw back extra special money he was never owed - a spurious demand at best

It's not just on Ukraine where the EU and US aren't seeing eye-to-eye lately. As we reported last week, American officials failed to show up to a big conference in Brussels for supporting the Palestinian Authority, despite being invited and expected to attend.

We've published the full text of a European counter-proposal to the U.S. 28-point Ukraine peace plan, seen by Reuters.

The document, drafted by Europe's E3 powers of Britain, France and Germany, takes the U.S. plan as its basis but goes through point by point with suggested changes & deletions.
