Still getting NetGalley requests for Sexy Garlic, and here's the thing. These stories were all passed on, in one way or another. So putting them out and subjecting them to reviews is ... vulnerable. Even if they weren't really personal.

But I feel good about it. Let the reviews fall where they may.

I think one thing I really want is for white women to see how *quickly* and *without guilt or even qualms* they will be replaced with a less interesting, probably kinda' shitty, manipulative, man-lauding white woman if they fail to obey the commands of a white man or make one feel less important.

At least in American genre circles, the cis women are either speaking out, or they're too dug in protecting the cwm, praising them, or attacking people on their behalf.

I'm tired of seeing absolutely no accountability for the cis men while they try and pit the other genders against each other.

And if I'm wrong? Maybe they just haven't seen it yet? Reach out. Tell them. Ask them to promote it. The project is so currently, so worthy, and this amount of money isn't so much for our whole industry.

Every cis white man writer and platform, already out talking about genAI and politicians, should be actively telling their followers that everything happening is due to our refusal to address white supremacy, whiteness, and white silence.

Ask yourself why they are not.
