A little experimental piece that I did as a bit of an experiment where her hair is just made of blocks of black with clipping masks over the top. I dunno if I am gonna use this technique going forward, but it was still fun for practice.

I also know they’re westerners because one of the artists despite being of Asian descent lives in Canada, and the other lives in Connecticut, and is of German descent. Both are artists that I have followed since the 2000s.

I wanna know it is that Americanized versions of Terrible K-Dramas with god awful acting became over Half the reels I am seeing on Instagram and Facebook. It’s like over half of Webtoons content, and I only go to Webtoon for two comics which are actually written by westerners.

A Steven Universe OC, I was trying fog figure out what to do with her, so I’ve opted to make an AU comic with it’s own lore, where the gems are representations of their souls, and aren’t beings of light, they have squishy insides like you and I. It’s also going to be much more adult.
