another night and the dogs are barking
you wake to the smell of burning tyres
sirens wail and the street's on fire
and another headline hits the presses
the truth runs in, the news creeps out
people stare if you scream and shout
and another quiet night goes by

Dr Richard North is a long time EU-phobe and Climate Change denier who, before the 2016 referendum, wrote ‘Flexit’ a template and guide for a permanent EU exit for the UK. Quite a clever man, if he also is disparaging of Farage everyone, especially members of Reform, should be very concerned!

I saw Antiques Roadshow was trending and I just found out that they also have this in America. Which potentially doubles my consumption of my favourite show... my wife will be furious there's more... thinks I watch enough already!

And after, America: what do you have in mind for those migrants you are defending right now?

Amnesty for immigration irregularities and a green card, for those working or supported and with no criminal record (ignoring traffic offences and such)?

That'd be a worthy objective?

Haven't seen any news today or been online till now, so when I was just talking to my brother he referenced a whole heap of things Trump has done since yesterday I hadn't heard of.

'It's no use waiting for the tv news' he said 'this is social media speed news now!'.

She described Trump as 'a draft dodging narcissist'

Today the US left the WHO. Ending contributions to world programs on HIV and Polio. And probably ending contribution to decisions on what the next year's flu vaccine should be. This on top of dismantling USAID, the foremost agency in fighting malaria and HIV and feeding refugees. Millions will die.

Massive anger here in the UK over Trump's remarks that NATO weren't on the frontline in Afghanistan.

457 British troops died there helping the US.

People say he needs to make a formal apology.
