Just deployed Google Ads for Sidecar. Unlike my previous projects, I’m not just guessing. I’m dialing in every variable audience, keywords, timing to squeeze the most out of the budget. Data over intuition this time around

Facebook is officially approved for Sidecar and in production . Instagram hit a small review snag but should be cleared this week. Mastodon integration is already underway

Got a Raspberry Pi as a gift and spent the night setting up n8n workflows just for fun. Didn’t even notice the time. Definitely getting old 😂

2025 didn’t go the way I planned business-wise, but this is what dedication looked like for me.
Every dot here is a feature shipped, a bug fixed, or a lesson learned. Even if things didn’t work out the way I hoped, I see this as part of the 10,000 hours toward becoming an “overnight” success.

Working on your startup as a developer right now is honestly amazing. You have an idea or a feature request and you can build it in minutes and ship it in a few hours. No reason not to be improving your product daily from user feedback

Sidecar posts were sounding a bit too generic, so I tweaked the AI instructions and added some post-processing to make them feel more natural. Beta tester’s loving the new changes

Working on a feature I realized was needed while traveling. It’s still in development, but the idea is for Hoku to suggest top activities in the city you’re visiting and give you an AI report with things like best neighborhoods, local tips, and things to do

Since coming back from Japan I have been waking up earlier feels, like a superpower getting an extra hour of work in the morning.
Used it today to make Sidecar’s content creation more dynamic by factoring in the time of year, the business location, and mixing up post styles during the week

Merged maps feature into our dev branch. We’re also moving from custom code we created for app store purchases + renewals over to RevenueCat. Maintaining that code was just taking way too long. This will save a ton of time going forward
