Things football taught me:
Assholes are assholes. Ignore 'em. If they get in your face, dispose of them.

When I first visited my future inlaws, all of what I thought I knew as an architect fell apart like jigsaw puzzle pieces. I sat on the terrace one morning, really fucked up. My future father in law brought me coffee. He just knew. He said, "we perfected this. Simply learn, boy".

We sold him today.
He and his twin brother took all of us across the country to Mountain Home in March 2020.
Those were the first weeks of the pandemic.
Nobody knew jack shit.
My Boy said, we need to leave the City.
We bought them the next day.
And drove.
Mad Max Moment maybe.
No regrets.
