The watercolor is one of the most difficult forms of visual art. The quirky nature of the medium, that the painter tries to tame, but still shows a degree of freedom, is a challenge for many artists. https://edohannemawatercolourartist.wordpress.com/

Thank you so much Ellen, its more a Sepiatone. I make it myself from Burnt Umber and Neutral tint, so I can variate the amount of cool or warmth in the washes.
Ammonia is ook vloeibaar gas.

When it is that hot, washes dry before you can say A
Oliver got a excellent demo from that, how to stay fluid, but strong enough. I look it up.
If I may make a suggestion, try to paint a bit wetter.
Same strength, only more water. You make it more transparent that way.
It's Beautiful & Tender. Very good
Jazeker, de tuinen hebben wij bezocht. We waren een dagen naar Brielle, en in een boekwinkel zagen we iets over kasteeltuinen staan.
We dachten zal wel in Engeland zijn. Maar nee, het was Twickel.
Mooie foto trouwens, pracht plek!
Ik wist toen ook niet wat Hesp was.
Maar toch besteld.
Broodje droge ham.
Was wel lekker hoor.
Veggie is best knap.
Ik geloof wel dat het de sinaasappels waren van Twickel zelf wat ze vertelde.
Ook de lunch met Hesp kan ik mij herinneren.
Ik had toen 2 potten marmeladejam gekocht in het winkeltje van Twickel. Was echt lekker.
The word "drommedaris" was a common spelling variant of "dromedaris" (the one-humped camel) at the time. You also see this in old songs and documents: the double "m" emphasized the sound. Later, the official spelling in Dutch became "dromedaris," but the building's historical name was never changed.
The Drommedaris in Enkhuizen is the old city gate (1649), and the name is deliberately spelled with "mm." This is because spelling hadn't yet been standardized in the 17th century, and words were often written phonetically or according to regional patterns.
In the city where the Drommedaris is situated, they call it the Drommedaris too.
