The "degree or job" choice is a false dichotomy. 🎓💼 New research from @newamerica.org shows degree apprenticeships are a "yes, and" strategy, letting students earn a wage and a degree simultaneously. K-12 teaching and nursing are currently leading the charge. @insidehighered.com

As strangers continue to show up asking to get access to the children inside, there is also the constant fear that ICE may come for the parents, the children or their staff, a large portion of whom are immigrants.
At day cares in Minnesota, strangers are showing up at their doors as parents scramble to protect staff
Parents are stepping in to be volunteer teachers or shuttle providers to work to protect an immigrant workforce.
