A friend learned the hard way that keeping sugar and salt in identical storage jars right next to each other was a bad idea.

AC uses gas/electricity.

The driver doesn't want to pay for fuel or wait for a charge for as long as possible.

In Ubers, I just roll down the window to avoid heat death.

There are YouTube channels dedicated to reviewing canned seafood.

Spanish is supposed to be one of the nations that produce high quality tinned fish.

I know this because Bourdain went to a bar/food spot that specialized in canned seafood on one of his episodes about Spain.

Chinese tradition is giving money to kids and single adults during Lunar New Year celebrations.

Korea has a similar tradition, but there are still differences.

Chinese: hongbao is given in red envelopes
Korean: sebae-don is given in white envelopes and the younger bows to the elder

Middle class in the UK seems squishy? There are people USA would identify as middle class and:

Here's the clip where Posh Spice was claiming to be middle class and David Beckham (who grew up poor) forces her to reveal the type of car her dad used to drop her off at school: youtu.be/RHTymVrW0EI?...

You're going to need to look for an archery shop or an hunting/fishing place. There's a press needed to hold the bow and give enough slack.

Compound bows are popular for hunting, so you may find shops in more suburban/rural neighborhoods as opposed to a city proper.

The BBC series 'Tudor Farm' is also a decent introduction to the amount of work on a subsistence farm.

You've said before that Donna is an excellent cook.

Has she never made pancakes for you?

You don't need a box mix. The dry ingredients are just all-purpose wheat flour, a rising agent, and salt.

Milk (or buttermilk if you are feeling fancy) should be easy to get as well as eggs.

Gonna get it, but I'm still deeply disappointed that you didn't smack Scott Jennings in the mouth when you had the chance.

If he leaves for CBS, when will you ever get another chance?

Hateful conduct policy is probably on autopilot after the team responsible for it got fired by Muskrat. It'll work until Muskrat wanders into the data center and starts randomly turning shit off

I'm betting there's a Jira board just filled with abandoned fixes and improvements no one is managing.

Before the Internet and social media, you could do or say something stupid and that was it. Only those at the moment knew what happened.

Now all you say or do is recorded and someone in the future could come at you for something you said 15 years ago.

So many people just like the beat and vibe of a song.

Tipper Gore didn't want to censor music until she actually listened to the lyrics of a Prince song.

So many people think "Every Breath You Take" is a love song and not the thoughts of a stalker.

I noticed that Trump seems to try to copy the style of Russian palaces (the interiors of this in particular: www.saint-petersburg.com/peterhof/gra...)

Either that or he has the taste of a magpie and just wants shiny.

Still have an umbrella I bought 20ish years ago for $120.

Haven't used it in years as it's less useful on the few days it rains as I'm dealing with a dog on a leash.

A bright orange poncho keeps me dry and lets the careless drivers on the road know of my presence.

O'Reilly used to use LaTex and Docbook (docbook.org) to edit and publish books.

I don't think a new standard is needed.

Companies need to get off shitty proprietary formats and start using open standard formats.

So did Bean get to the song where Taylor goes:
That long ass dick
Didn't have any lube on it
So it felt like he was rubbing his wood in my hole
And starting a bonfire

That is not lyrical songwriting. That is sparkling sex pop.
