Unusual problem with my bass hardware
End pin was tight to insert/remove. Collar insert came out with end pin.
End pin unit with collar insert sticking out.
Replaced the entire end pin hardware with end pin. Had to ream the hole larger in bass. Used a very sharp 10” reamer with a T-handle.

I asked the conductor, “Did you see what was happening behind you?”
Him, “Yes, I saw that. Was that your influence? Maybe, I should ask you not to return until April?”

One of my groups is having to rehearse in a cafeteria.
One of the musicians thought about buying supper but was put off by some of the containers available.
Looking at them, I quipped, “Eating one of these would likely turn you into a Marvel super-hero.”
