I’m rewatching Star Trek Voyager from start to finish and so far I’m 5 episodes in and enjoying myself. I was 13 when the series first came out and my dumb ass didn’t appreciate it back then the same way I do now.

So I tried watching The West Wing and I just can’t do it. It just feels so disconnected from reality that I can’t get into it. Yet another thing Trump has taken from me.

The main thing that kept me from socializing with other nerds in person even 30 years ago was the misogyny and creepy borderline-rape culture.
I’d be in a group and someone would say the skeeviest shit about an actress or character and others would laugh or agree and I knew I didn’t belong there.
