2. JC is my 2nd fave manager of the Pozzo era.

3 This is symptomatic of Pozzo's consistent & woeful failure to cultivate a stable culture at the #watfordfc & 20 odd failed recruitments.

Although we were better in the second half, the win papers over the cracks a bit. Hull are an awful side who i suspect will be firmly in the relegation mix, so beating them is no great shakes.

What a difference a week makes. Absolutely bossed the first half. Irritating to concede on the stroke of half time. If we don't go on to win this game it will be criminal. Wil there ever be a time when Louza is not MOTMl? #watfordfc

Agreed. None of the new players look like an improvement on what we already had. Subbing Louza off was a big mistake. We looked disjointed from the off with Doumbia out of position on the left. Worrying that Pezzolano couldnt see it.

Don't disagree. I guess my point is that it's intensely irritating to hear the owners promising that we have the core of a promotion winning team when we, and they, must know that exactly this sort of thing is going to happen....and that we are unlikely find a like for like replacement for our PotS.

At the very least it's galling to hear the same old guff from the owners at the beginning of the season when they must know that yet again we'll be scraping a team together from loanees and free agents.

Of course you're right but the owners have created the conditions that make him want to leave (or not want to stay) and that gives the lie to the annual hollow claims of the Pozzos. Maybe I'm wrong but I feel he wld have stayed under Clevs.

Louza carried us this season. First priority should have been to keep him happy. That he is not is telling.All that talk about keeping the crown jewels & our player of the season is off 2 days into preseason.Be very surprised, given the signings so far, if we get a replacement with similar ability.
