Trump admitted whose fault the shutdown was when he posted that the shutdown was one of the two reasons Repubs lost in yesterday's election. Ie, voters know the shutdown is the Repubs' fault.

NYT: "In 2023, the House jettisoned a requirement that a resolution be passed in the House to authorize an extended legislative break, effectively handing the speaker power to declare such prolonged recesses unilaterally."

On Friday night, Donald Trump held a Great Gatsby-inspired Halloween party themed "A little party never killed nobody.”

On Monday morning, the Trump administration told a judge it will only PARTIALLY fund SNAP and 40 million Americans should expect delays for food benefits.

The thing is, the President can only impose tariffs in response to emergencies. If he isn't even pretending to do so anymore, it shows how much we have lost the rule of law.

As the president blocks SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), 42 million Americans will lose the support they need to put food on the table.
Not only will those people suffer, but 248,000 retailers, many of them small businesses, will see their revenues fall, spreading recession 1 of 2

What else might he want to do to arlington cemetary besides putting his big weird french arch with gold dingleberries in front of it?

So no one's allowed to point out the Fascism in the MAGA movement, but they are allowed to slander and libel the person they call "Crooked Hillary Clinton." No one's allowed to call the 'Fascists," but they're allowed to call anyone they want 'communists.'
