I really wanted to give Eight‘s tongue some good emphasis with this image to make it look both alien and human at the same time, giving it a rather freakish feeling. Not everyone liked it, but that’s ok xD A lot of people are kind weird about humanoids anyway.

I was always against the idea despite the lingering thought of her not being expressive enough - let alone too creepy and xenomorph looking - but in the end, I found the eyes not to be as bad looking as I anticipated. I guess I just needed more time and skill to make them look fitting on her.
