Fife schools are facing real terms cuts of £8.4 million next year, £14.2 million in 2027-2028 and £20.8 million by 2028-2029. By the end of the first year, schools will have lost the equivalent funding for around 210 pupil support assistants. Please share this public meeting invitation widely.

The EIS has opened a new statutory industrial action ballot over teacher workload.

The ballot runs until the 04/03/26 and is asking teachers to vote for or against Strike action and/or Action Short of Strike (ASOS) over excessive teacher workload.
