A year ago today, my 94 year old grandmother was able to end her battle with stage 4 cancer thanks to medical assistance in dying (MAID).
I am incredibly grateful that she had the option to die with dignity & can only hope that when my time comes, I have the same rights. Rest in power, Audrey ❤️
