In the middle of November, a young humpback whale stranded near Yachats, and unfortunately was humanely euthanized despite rescue efforts. Tribal members, scientists, and community volunteers came together to mourn, learn, and honor its life through ceremony and necropsy work.

After presenting to the Oregon Sustainability Board, we got to explore one of the most stunning spots on the #Oregoncoast, the Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative. 🩵
