today's tea is salted caramel rooibos from the local tea shop which is surprisingly decent for a rooibos (I'm not a huge rooibos fan). tho I need to have something with caffeine at some point or it's headache time.

Yeah, I understand that and I understand gun fetishists and such like that, which is why I said I'd give the benefit of the doubt. It's just a bit odd in a social context to obviously be scrolling through a gun shop site during a break in a class given what's going on with gun violence in the US.

My maple extract (McCormick) said 1tbsp and I thought that was too much since the recipe said 3 drops. I used 2tsp and it wasn't enough. Use the full 1tbsp (if that's the extract you use anyway).

I also had to bake them a lot longer for them to get done, but bonus was the top got really crunchy

Recipe: Brown sugar maple variant
Edits: don't fucking use papers if you use no oil (I used apple sauce), spray a muffin pan real good. Use the recommended amount of maple extract that the extract bottle suggests, not 3 drops. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
