Great timing, since it's asexuality awareness week.
I happen to know a movie addressed that idea... in 1997 (Gattaca).
I want to personally congratulate @jessnicole-m.bsky.social and her team for having finished the first season on their "I Was a Teenage Exocolonist" unofficial dub. It helps that it ended similarly to my own first playthrough. #IWATEX www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D40...

Just realized it would explain why there's a member of the polycule we never meet. Maybe we players have been mislead into believing we never met him all this time 😁 (amateur writing hobby is 90% fanfic, can't turn it off).
I'm enough of a cat lover to be watching the "Nyaight of the Living Cat" anime and this has me worried. Actual scene from the anime below:

I don't play Rimworld and have no idea how much control one has on sleeping locations. But since one of the aspects of exocolonist I like are the reminders that the adults had lives before the kids showed up, I'm having a blast at where Al and Tirah ended up.
Added "Lair Land Story" to my exploration of "Princess Maker"-likes
-: copy-pasted branching points make already complex romances harder to navigate, some unclear story elements
+: good starting money, construction activity, two promotions in jobs, guardian has romance options other than their ward
Part of it is that Antecendent and Seeq have monopoly on running the food and item one respectively and... this regularly happening off-screen would explain a lot, actually.
I remember seeing a theory that those two are siblings somewhere before actually watching the movie and this is the one scene that made me think "yes, that checks out".
What they don't tell you about playing Echoes of the Plum grove: having Rose Swayne and Emory Chestney's funerals on consecutive days, and seeing a crying Molly Chestney two days in a row because she married Rose in your session.
Correction: the "baby son" was apparently some glitchy duplicate of the adopted daughter who had been taken in two days before Kayela's death. Turned out I could remove the crib with the hammer. Actual adopted daughter got kicked out of the farm alongside Penelope and is now an apprentice carpenter.
For the last time, stop following strange Faceless 😠.
RIP to Kayela, my first Echoes of the Plum Grove character. The farm has been taken over by her second daughter Bridget, already the mother of a little girl and a baby son. The other parent is Madeline Hutton and Clark Ryle's oldest son, Harvey. Bridget's wedding was one of last week's curveballs.
After first playthrough of "Chinese Parents" game on Switch:
-: unfinished story features, inconsistent translation a puzzle in itself, button mashing writing assignments.
+: Fragments system surprisingly strategic, clear path for beginniners to aim for, shopping catalog system for activities.
Echoes of the Plum Grove threw me too many badly timed curveballs at once, so I'm looking at the "Princess Maker"-likes I panic-bought a couple weeks ago. In "Chinese Parents", I need to prepare my daughter for the Gaokao even though she's still in kindergarten. Interesting stat-raising mechanics.
Try to specialize in Biology, you'll stumble upon stuff that will help. You'll need to be an Engineering regular for Geranium, so it merges well with untangling Tangent's storyline.
Once you manage to both keep Dys in the colony and figure out the dialog options that will sabotage Tangent's research, do it again while also helping Rex with his bar. This will get you closer to scene you look like you will enjoy.
Me: Maybe I should take a break from Echoes of the Plum Grove after a my now-ex farm helper's wedding.
Also me: Here's your lost possession, Mrs. Blood Moon female ghost who doesn't disclose her last name. Gee, I wonder who I'm supposed to give that "lost note" too...
I'll restrict myself to Exocolonist because it's the only one I've played. Besides the obvious candidate, I'm thinking Geranium could be a decent contender.
Youtuber with a decent following almost fell for a scam that got me a few months ago. I don't have many followers here, I'm in the mood to get her her video about the topic under all the eyes I can. #artscam

Stumbled upon this and feel it should be a self-deprecating #autism meme if it isn't one already.
This one gets even more dramatic: on the morning to the weddding, I got a funeral notice for the groom's father. By the way, the deceased is "nb Isabella" and their widow's new groom is the son of Isabella Whitfield (who's elder, but still alive).
How it started: Secretly hoping they will die in the next wave of smallpox so the ownership of the bakery can return to someone with Lloyd blood.
How it's going: They died of smallpox, leaving a son and widow behind. Their widow is getting remarried two days after their funeral

I used the same sale to pick up "Chinese parents", "Ciel Fledge" and "Lair Land Story" (that share a mechanic with Exocolonist) because I had like 16 euros of credit left over from a previous splurge and some recent news got me worried about their long-term availability.
I'm completely removed from the pride flag discussions, so someone else may have had the same idea for all I know, but I've been having my own private brainstorm about adding A-spec stuff to the progress pride flag and landed on the concept below:
