I doorsteped people in North Birmingham today the number of "voted labour, never again" answers I got were coming in faster than the rain.

Been a bit longer than I'd usually like but coming home to support the Birmingham @greenparty.org.uk action day! With the world and news being so chaotic, I'm hoping we can spread some joy and hope to my home town

Rest in power Benjamin Zephaniah, Always missed, never forgotten (favourite experience of my time at University of Birmingham was meeting him and having very earnest conversation as an undergraduate to a national treasure and he treated me as an equal. We should all be like him)
