Not fined. Agreed to pay to settle a suit. Don’t diminish your credibility by getting the facts wrong. A fine is levied by the court as a punishment of a crime or civil infraction. This was an agreement between the parties.

Were they shooting at him or the guy in the helmet and some sort of gas mask that walked in front of him? Since they’re unaccountable we’ll never know. Also I don’t think it matters. There’s no justification to fire since they faced no threat.

The notion he can just decide “one year in jail for burning a flag” shows he has no idea how the law works. He also has no idea what the legal history is on this. I know he thinks he is king and can just make it up but that only shows how psychotic he’s become.
